Click to Pay with Visa is a game changer when it comes to speed in online payment processes: While customers were often forced to painstakingly enter their credit or debit card details, a one-time registration is now all that's needed. Customers are automatically recognised at checkout and can simply select the stored cards and pay directly – all with just a few clicks.

A simplicity from which the QR Pay solution of the national payment provider Payrexx will also benefit in the future. Payrexx QR Pay works in a similar way to what Swiss people are already familiar with from TWINT: simply scan the QR code with your mobile phone and pay. However, Payrexx's solution goes one step further. Instead of only with an app, these QR codes can be scanned directly with the smartphone's camera and a variety of payment methods can be stored. This makes Payrexx QR Pay versatile and particularly attractive for Commerciantes with international customers.

The biggest problem with this innovative solution: Anyone who wanted to pay with a credit or debit card via Payrexx QR Pay previously had to manually enter their card details – a time-consuming hurdle that Payrexx is now overcoming together with Visa. With the integration of Click to Pay, registered customers can now also pay quickly and easily via QR code with their card.

To best establish the improved QR Pay solution from Payrexx with both existing and new Commerciantes, a year's promotion was launched together with Visa. In this context, Payrexx reduces transaction costs to a low 1.25% + 0.00 EUR per payment – for all relevant Swiss payment methods! Because Payrexx QR Pay works not only with Visa, but also with Mastercard, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay. In addition, a further 200 national and international payment methods can be stored, including PayPal, Klarna, POWERPAY or Centi.

As a small payment provider with regional roots, which started as a startup and worked its way up, Payrexx has a special heart for small businesses. Accordingly, the payment provider from Thun has also focused primarily on SMEs, non-profit organisations, clubs and associations in recent years.
