When advance ticket sales for a major open-air festival, a club night, or a business event launch, technology comes under pressure. Thousands of hits within a few seconds require a reliable infrastructure. This is precisely where TicketPlus steps in, positioning itself as an independent Swiss alternative to the major ticketing monopolists in the market.
The Zurich-based company is forging its own path, as Markus Soller, Managing Partner, explains: “We sensed a growing frustration among many event organisers about having to surrender ownership of their customer data to the major ticketing monopolists. The market urgently demanded an independent, data-secure Swiss alternative. That is precisely what drives us at TicketPlus: we want to restore full data sovereignty to organisers while providing them with technology that is 100 percent tailored to their needs.”
TicketPlus’s biggest promise is data sovereignty: all customer data belongs 100 percent to the event organisers, whilst the “Swiss Made” and “Swiss Hosting” credentials ensure maximum stability and security. Furthermore, the system adapts to the organisers – not the other way around. As a complete white-label solution, the ticket shop operates within the event's design and on its own domain.
Acid test at ESAF and record rush for Circoloco
For the Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF), Migros relied on TicketPlus technology to organise its tent city. A fully integrated white-label shop was launched at ticket.migros-zeltstadt.ch, through which hundreds of overnight accommodation spots were sold bilingually.

Highly sought-after: the Migros tents at ESAF 2025. Countless wrestling fans rushed the booking portal simultaneously shortly after launch, challenging the IT infrastructure.
The logistical and technical complexity behind this project was immense. At the official sales launch, wrestling fans simultaneously stormed the system to secure one of the coveted tents. In addition to pure booking figures, substantial personal data had to be collected concurrently, such as check-in times and details regarding catering options. All of this places a high load on IT. In such peak periods, absolute trust in the infrastructure is essential.

Monumental light performance and record advance sales: Circoloco Zurich celebrated a successful premiere with 12,000 tickets, processed via Payrexx's invisible API integration.
TicketPlus technology also proved it can effortlessly withstand gigantic rushes in the nightlife and festival landscape during the Swiss premiere of the world-famous party label Circoloco in Zurich. In record time, over 12,000 tickets crossed the virtual counter. During such rapid advance sales, the system tolerates not a single second of delay – every click and every transaction must be processed in real time.
Soller is also proud of the stability of his infrastructure: “We take immense pride in having handled prestigious major projects such as the ESAF tent city for Migros and the rapid, record-breaking presale for Circoloco Zurich entirely without error. When tens of thousands of requests hit the servers within seconds, the system cannot falter for even a millisecond.”
Seamless white-label payment processing with Payrexx
If a payment gateway experiences even minimal delay or friction at a moment of peak traffic, customers abandon the purchase. For organisers, this means lost revenue and, in the worst-case scenario, a negative customer experience that leaves a lasting impression. In addition, the checkout process must not feel foreign. It must integrate seamlessly into the respective event shop’s design. Customers booking a tent with Migros or purchasing a ticket for Circoloco, as in our example, should not be confused by third-party brands appearing during the payment process.
In Payrexx, TicketPlus found the ideal partner for this. Payrexx relies on a pure API connection and a consistent white-label approach. This means partygoers and event guests experience the familiar brand environment of the event organiser throughout the entire purchasing journey that TicketPlus provides to its clients.

“Hiking Sounds” on the outside, Payrexx on the inside: party guests notice nothing of Payrexx processing the payment at checkout.
Furthermore, because all relevant Swiss payment methods – above all TWINT, but also PostFinance and credit cards – are available from a single source, the buying experience remains fast, familiar, and secure. This ensures maximum conversion rates and perfectly aligns with TicketPlus’s “Swiss Hosting” promise.
