The Payrexx update of June 2026 focuses on two core areas: a modernised design in the Comerciante account and noticeable improvements in usability. New features include a revised configuration view for Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus, a CSV import for the Paylink tool directly at initial launch, and a password history for enhanced account security.
This guide explains exactly what has changed and how you can make the most of the new features.
1. Revised design in the Payrexx account
The Payrexx Comerciante account presents itself with a new look in the June update. Buttons and tags now appear in rounded shapes and fresh colours — in line with the corporate design introduced by Payrexx in 2025. The goal: a more consistent, modern appearance that makes daily work in the account more pleasant.
The change is purely visual and has no impact on functions, settings, or payment processes. All familiar sections remain in the same places — only the presentation is fresher.
2. New configuration view for Payrexx Pay and Payrexx Pay Plus
The configuration page for Payrexx Pay (PP) and Payrexx Pay Plus (PPP) has been fundamentally restructured. Previously, all settings were listed on one long, confusing page — active payment methods, transaction fees, GTC settings, and other parameters side by side.
(Note: PP remains as PP according to the glossary as the casing matches, and PPP is translated accordingly.)
Now, secondary sections such as transaction fees and GTC are hidden behind collapsible elements. What remains immediately visible are the most important settings, especially the activated payment methods. This significantly reduces the effort required for setup and customization.
For Comerciantes who use both solutions in parallel — such as Payrexx Pay for TWINT and PostFinance, and Payrexx Pay Plus for Klarna or AMEX — the new view is particularly helpful because an overview of active methods is now possible at a glance.
Section | Before | New |
Payment methods | Embedded in a long list | Directly visible, prioritised at the top |
Transaction fees | Always visible | Behind collapsible element |
GTC settings | Always visible | Behind collapsible element |
Clarity | Unstructured | Clearly structured, prioritised |
The new configuration view is available for all Payrexx plans that use Payrexx Pay or Payrexx Pay Plus.
3. CSV import for Paylinks — now available right from the start
The Paylink tool from Payrexx allows payment requests to be sent to customers via email — with a direct payment link, without the need for an online shop. Particularly practical: with a CSV import, email addresses, amounts, and currencies can be imported for multiple recipients at once.
Previously, however, this import option was only available once at least one Paylink had been created. Anyone opening the tool for the first time initially saw an empty view with no import option and had to manually create an entry first.
Now, the CSV import option appears directly when first opening the Paylink tool — exactly when Comerciantes want to start with a larger list of recipients. This saves several manual steps and makes the onboarding process significantly more efficient.
Typical usecase: An association wants to collect membership fees via Paylink and imports a CSV list containing all member email addresses and respective amounts — directly upon opening the tool for the first time.
Usecase | CSV fields | Advantage |
Collect membership fees | Email, amount, currency | No manual individual entry |
Send invoices | Email, amount, currency | Batch processing in one step |
Bill course fees | Email, amount, currency | Import possible directly at initial launch |
4. Password history for enhanced account security
With the June update, Payrexx is introducing a password history: previously used passwords are saved and cannot be reused at the next password change. Anyone changing their password will be prompted to set a new, previously unused password.
This measure is standard practice in security-oriented platforms and protects against a common attack vector: resetting to an old, potentially compromised password. For Comerciantes who manage multiple users in the account — Standard plan: up to 3, Premium: unlimited — this is particularly relevant.
The function applies automatically at the next password change. No adjustments are required.
