You can use Braintree in Payrexx to better target international customers, as you can accept not only Visa and Mastercard but also card systems like American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and Maestro, and activate multiple currencies (each currency with its own Comerciante Account). This is especially advantageous if you regularly sell to customers from abroad or have higher shopping carts where these cards are used more frequently.

You typically have two cost blocks: firstly, the Braintree fees according to your contract, secondly, the Payrexx transaction fee for external payment providers according to your Payrexx plan (in the PREMIUM plan 0.25%).

First, you create a Braintree account and then start with sandbox data for tests. In Payrexx, you enter the access data and activate the desired currencies. For each currency, you need a separate Comerciante Account in Braintree, whose Comerciante Account ID you enter in Payrexx.

Braintree is a payment provider through which you can process card payments. For you as an SME, the combination with Payrexx is particularly useful if you already have a Braintree account or want to sell internationally. You use Payrexx for checkout and payment flow, and Braintree processes the payment via your own provider relationship.
